9:00 to 10:30 am – Workshop demo given by Walt Bartman of Yellow Barn Studio, entitled: Composing a painting and working with color.

10:30 to 10:45 am – Lottery for participants for sculpture sites
Location: River Inn – Columbia Suite
10:45 am to 4:00 pm – Painting & individual instruction
Location: Foggy Bottom Historic District (between 24th and 26th Streets and H and K Streets, NW)
4:00 to 5:30 pm – Reception and exhibition of the works completed.

At the end of the painting session, a wine and cheese reception will be held at Watergate Gallery and the artists will be able to exhibit their work on their easels outside of the Gallery. Arts in Foggy Bottom reserves the right to take photos of participants and their works for possible future publicity for non-commercial purposes.

NOTE: Ms. Lemire, Co-Director, Arts in Foggy Bottom, will inform each applicant regarding whether or not she/he has made the cutoff by Oct. 16th. Also on that date, information concerning transportation options, eateries in the neighborhood, etc. will be provided to artists who have been accepted.
