Arts in Foggy Bottom
Arts in Foggy Bottom is a project of the Foggy Bottom Association, a private non-profit 501© 3 organization founded in 1959. The Arts in Foggy Bottom goals are to: (1) enrich the cultural environment of the Foggy Bottom community by providing exposure to the visual arts, especially sculpture; (2) create educational opportunities for residents, non-residents and students as they relate to the visual arts; (3) draw the attention of people who live outside of Foggy Bottom to this unique, historically-significant residential neighborhood; and (4) create a catalyst for energizing and connecting the business, educational, and residential communities of Foggy Bottom and the adjacent areas.
The Arts in Foggy Bottom has mounted four outdoor sculpture exhibits (2008, 2010, 2012, and 2014) in the Historic District of Foggy Bottom in Washington, DC. The major sponsor of the exhibits has been the Foggy Bottom Association Defense and Improvement Corporation.

They are assisted by an Advisory Committee which includes Carolyn Alper, Chas Colburn, Jean Efron, Dale Johnson, Wendy Luke, Fanchon Silberstein, Anne Smith, Tracy Van Riper, Louise Weiner, and Helen Zughaib.
